I heard others saying Thaitanic is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area, so I went there for dinner the other night. First of all the atmosphere there is very “Thai”, they put bamboo and different plants on the wall and made it look so good! Ordered lots of dishes but I personally like the boat soup noodle so much, especially after adding a little bit of their home made chili oil in, it was so yum! The other dishes like Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, Raw Prawn, Chicken Feet Salad were nice too. The only thing is the Thai Milk Tea was really too sweet for me. But it is a great restaurant!

The star ⭐ is mainly for the service and presentation of the food. The taste of food just soso, but the staffs are really nice. The setting and seating area are Thai style. The plates, bowl and glasses are so attractive and full of energetic. The coconut pork tum yum soup is too salty and the meat so hard to chew. The chicken feet salad need more time to marinate.

It’s been a while since I’ve been up country in Thailand and stepping inside Thaitanic Nerang brought that feeling back. Seeing mostly asian faces & hearing the Thai language being spoken, the decor & inexpensive tables & chairs & a kitchen bustling with staff along with countless customers coming in to pick up their take away orders. This has to be the BEST Thai Restaurant in the City of Gold Coast. Just keep it a secret between you and me.

Food was superb and the flavours were rather authentic. You can get a lot of very Thai style dishes, like the raw prawns, raw crab salad, etc that you can’t find in conventional Thai restaurants in Australia

Lunch for two on a beautiful autumn day. It was so nice we decided to eat outside. Most seating is inside, there seemed to be plenty of it but it was busy.
