I love this place, have been going there for years, friendly staff, great variety of delicious foods, eat in, take away. Though I don’t live in that area now, I still travel just to eat lunch there. Have never ever had a problem.

Debated long and hard about whether to post this review, and I feel a little bad doing it. I’ve been a customer at Tenka for years, but now unfortunately I’ll never eat food from there again. I have a seafood allergy, so I know, it’s a little risky for me to eat sushi, but I always buy chicken, and vegetables, and have been told that they are prepared safely. Unfortunately, when I purchased my sushi Sunday before last, someone decided that fish flakes belong on chicken sushi. Thankfully I realized their mistake before swallowing any sushi, but I was still extremely ill. I realize I’m partially at fault, but I suppose they have been sensible all these years, so I stopped asking if they put seafood on my chicken sushi. When I called to try and get information about what was on my sushi, nobody answered. I later spoke to Tom who works there, who was extremely helpful, but I feel that no one at the store really took it seriously. Disappointing, and sad for me, as I normally love their sushi.

Went her for my 17 wedding anniversary (after covid money had been tight). While the sushi was decent the wasabi was pungent. Additionally, some boy across from me took out his retainer… really ruined the mood. Did not get laid after. Do better.
