Anyone that goes pass tarampa general store & cafe i surprise myself how big it was from the inside. I do recommend anyone that goes for that direction that you all family had to go somewhere the ideal place to go for family or friends by dropping in side of your hungry have a coffee I was surprised how big it was from the inside, plenty of tables and chairs. the good thing about it. There’s a petrol station next door that’s very convenient, so you can start your travel anywhere you want to go

Under new ownership. Will need to see how it goes. Food is okay. It was a great general store for more than 20 years. Had hours of 5:30am to 7pm or 8pm (longer on weekends). Previous owners let it run down. Always stocked general groceries. Had a good take away menu. The store hours at the moment are not what is needed for the local community. Not reliable. Small business needs to be there consistently. Hope they are successful and adapt to the local area.

Stopped in while on a looong bike ride through the region. Store was very clean, and the air-conditioning was wonderfully cool – just for that I would already give 5 stars!!

While the food was always good when the previous owners had it the fact the place is not open most days past 2pm . Changed by the previous owners ., it is not what the locals need . No more hot chickens soggy chips after over 20years in Tarampa it’s just as easy to go to Lowood . Can’t patronize a place that’s not open most times I drive past .

I decided to go back for another try and still was disgusted they haven’t even got a menu up how do you know what food to buy I got chips cheese and gravy but didn’t get the cheese and they charge 50 bloody cents for the chicken salt how rude it cost $0.50 what do they charge for sauce they’ll probably charge you for walk and end of the shop

Had a two week job in the area, employees and myself ate their every day for smoko. Hands down best take away food in the Ipswich region, went through at least half the menu, from dim sims to chicken/steak burgers/ hot dogs/fish &chips. Couldn’t fault a single thing. Will miss that smoko shop. Cheers.
