Ate lunch at Tama yesterday. There were 8 of us in our group & shared lots of different things off the menu. Hard to pick a favourite as they were all AMAZING but the beef tartare & the crab linguine were superb! The cocktails were great & the wine list very extensive.

I entered after being guided by a staff member from outside the restaurant. Starting with quick customer service, they were friendly. The tables are wide, and the double layers of linen are standard in a formal restaurant. It’s been a long time since I found a restaurant with these basics. All snack menus and small dishes are recommended. It’s very creative and has an excellent balance of flavours. The steak was cooked perfectly. The house-made pasta noodles were al dente and perfectly suited to my taste. Dessert was enjoyable and the perfect way to end the meal. The food was modern Australian style, with a variety of flavours coming together well, and the composition was good. The wine list was extensive. But don’t worry. There is a sommelier there. This is a place where we look forward to the future.

Tama would have to be one of the nicest restaurants we’ve ever been to. From the second we arrived until we left everything was superb. The staff are so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The decor was elegant and the food sensational. Our steak was cooked to perfection and the crab linguine was delicious. The way they have restored the entire building is so impressive. We had a drink beforehand at the Tax Office and after at The Gatsby and so happy we did because it really was an amazing experience. Such a great night, can’t wait to do it again.

Everything we tried was amazing and service was great!! Our fav was the crab linguine and prawn roll. We also tried the steak, seafood platter, pork belly, lobster, octopus, oysters and dessert. Pork belly had super crispy crackle! Literally everything was on point, can’t wait to go back! Well done Tama!
