Mini omikase here. I think they take their reviews and critique very seriously, I note previous comments about the mini omikase do not get to meet the chief chef, not the case here, he came out 4 times on my seating. They even offered the fugu with the mini which was apparently only with the premium. They took the allergy and intolerance information super seriously which was very sweet. Some of the courses were great phenomenal, memorable and delicious. Feels very traditional and high quality. Phillip was very knowledgeable and the team at the back of the house were very accommodating and kind. Would highly recommend a visit

An absolutely amazing night. I am an incredibly picky seafood eater, I’ve also been to Japan 4 times. I LOVED everything!! Hands down best seafood I’ve had in Australia. The rest of my group also agreed. I can’t believe this restaurant isn’t more well known. I thought I knew all the best Japanese restaurants in Brisbane but apparently not. The Wagyu Katsu Sando was thick, juicy and like incredibly soft – Almost marshmellowy – mind blown! The paired cocktails, stunning. Will be coming back for our next occasion. Unfortunately the photos don’t do the food justice!

Best omakase I’ve had internationally. Every course is thoughtfully presented, insanely fresh, and beautiful made. Came for my partner’s birthday and they made her a personalized menu with her name. Really a memorable dinner

Best Japanese I’ve ever had. Everything prepared with care and intentionality. Very friendly service and chef was very interactive during the experience. My favourite part was the A5 wagyu with truffle, best tasting wagyu I’ve ever had.

An excellent experience to celebrate a special event or a new opportunity to try something different. I was happy with a selection of items for this omakase. In terms of flavours, the ingredients were fresh but nothing that really blows your mind. I did appreciate the story/origin for where the ingredients were sourced as dictated by our hosts.

Delicious Omakase with lobster infused menu. Some unique touches including the usage of radish rice and garlic truffle butter infusion. Also loved the sake selection, particularly the smooth texture. I do feel like it could have done with less smoked nigiri as it did remove a bit from the freshness and natural flavour of the ingredients.
