Today, we ordered grilled flake, fish souvlakia, 2 dim sims & chips cost $21 not happy with the size of the flake. Flake was maybe 50mm wide, 15mm thick (at most) and 200mm long. It was like a long thin fish fillet. We haven’t been here for a long time as the past few times the fried fish and potato cakes and been soaked in oil, and unbeatable.

We have been customers to this business for many years and live in Chirnside Park. Today I ordered a hamburger with the lot, steamed dim sims and a piece of grilled flake. It was all delicious. The hamburger was fabulous. Young lady that served me was very courteous and friendly. She said it would be ready in around 10 minutes and it was. Highly recommend.

Food is good here but twice in a row they messed up part of the order. The young man who took the order over the phone read our order back to me to make sure it was right, it was, but when the food arrived, part of the order was messed up again. I rang and very politely said “I’m really sorry but I do have a complaint”. I was met with a very rude, curt and arrogant “Yeah, yeah, what?”

Had planned on making this a new favourite after an amazing meal the other week. But staff are unable to cook a chip to a crisp and can apparently not follow a simple direction for extra salt on chips, instead putting NO SALT on half the chips and pouring it over the fish instead. So basic guys, truly disappointed. Won’t be back.

Felt like fish n chips, our usual shop was closed on a Tuesday , thought we would give switchback rd fish and chips a go. DON’T BOTHER, over $6 for a tiny piece of fish, less than half the size we normally get , which turned out to be very dry, ended up giving it to the dogs, scollops burnt, banana fritter burnt, Chips were average, NO reason to ever go back there again, Very dissapointing!!! Save your money and go somewhere else
