Great experience, walked in and couldn’t get a seat on the bench but the experience of using the QR code to order the sushi worked well. Everything came out fast and was nice and fresh. Easy enough to stop in for a quick lunch as well. Salmon volcano ship was a highlight.

I ate at this place so many times when I was visiting Adelaide, Australia! The food was amazing. My daughter and I did the all you can eat together and I ate too much sushi, but it was SO FUN! I went back later by myself and did the all you can eat again. I copied a man I saw when I was there before and removed the rice and just ate the middle “good” parts. Apparently, that is not acceptable, and I was told by the employees I’d been wasteful and I apologized. I just didn’t understand. Even though it was kind of embarrassing to be told I wasted rice, I sure enjoyed the food there! I would go back all the time if I lived in Australia, but I live in the USA, so Sushi Train Grenfell Street will only be a memory.

Terrible quality control, I ordered teriyaki rice bowl (came with just mayonnaise just a few drops of teriyaki sauce)… the tuna was so dry and Terrible, unagi looks like so weird…the soup of noodle was so salty……omgggggg I would never ever come again. Table water taste like salmon…wasn’t even washed properly.

Waited way too long for the fried chicken that came up cold and tasted disgusting. Salad leaves tasted like dish soap. Octopus tasted very unfresh and nasty. Felt worse and gross after eating their food. Very understaff. Will never come here again.

I had a craving for sushi before I stumbled upon this place. I was delighted with the vegetarian plate. It had a good selection & I was very happy to have Japanese mayonnaise available on the table along with ginger, wasabi, teriyaki sauce, & soy sauce. The staff were helpful & polite. When I stood up the chef asked me how it was. The atmosphere was a bit cramped & nothing special about the interior except the sushi train feature. It had a diner kind of vibe. I would come back. Thank you for the lovely lunch!

Completely dissatisfied. It was lunch time. Only two tables dining inside, including mine. Placed order through code. My friend almost finished his meal, I chased up my noodles and was told they forgot the order and just started to cook. (Three staff on floor, two staff in kitchen at the time maybe). After a while, I couldn’t wait any longer and asked for the bill. At the time, the boy brought the noodles. BUT I was already going to pay. No apology received from them at all. On the way out the store, a staff member took the same food for her lunch meal. Very disappointed.
