Ordered the chicken porridge, beef in black bean sauce and the special fried rice. Food was okay, as expected from a “dirty-chinese” restaurant. Good long opening hours and fast service. Service on the other hand could use some manners and the place is not the cleanest (nicely put). Probably won’t go here again. (Porridge looked pretty)

Should really have read reviews before entering.

We always talk about comfort food. This one might be the best of the best – congee. Eating congee always triggers some level of healing nostalgia for me. Congee is what my parents used to cook when my brothers and I were sick. When they themselves were growing up back in their home country, mum and dad used to eat congee everyday for breakfast.

Typical Chinese restaurant with average food quality and generous portion, nothing special. BBQ pork is too salty and sadly dry, not recommend. Stir fry beef with black bean curd paste is delicious.

Still one of the better Cantonese restaurant options on Dixon St. It’s an institution, serving up classics well for a reasonable price. No fancy tables, table cloths or exceptional service here. This is about the food. Still delicious after so many decades!!!

Very good casual restaurant. They can get very busy at night as they close quite late. Perfect for those after drink chinese food.

Very small portion compared to the photo. My crispy noodles were burnt but weren’t crispy at all. The stir-fry sauce is ok, and the food is fresh. A bit overpriced in general.

very bad experience, feels like a left over food on the plate, the roast pork are all fat, the roast duck is very little,$19.80 for the plate of food, worst food i have ever tasted in six months.

Standard Chinese restaurant in Sydney. Ok Peking duck. Make sure you order what you want not what the restaurant staff recommend.

One of the handful of late night supper options available in Sydney, this place is a go to, whenever you don’t feel like having the usual fast food. Recommend the congee and salt and pepper squid. The stir fried beef noodles were a bit too oily for me, but may help those who feel like sobering up. Service was as expected and quality of food was acceptable for the price you pay. So not bad!
