Great spot to enjoy lunch. View of the water to Beechmere & to Redcliffe Pensinular. Really nice friendly staff. Shared a meal, wonderful battered mushrooms, garlic bread & fish of the day, beer battered chips, yummy & crunchy. Cappuccino & from Dessert a delicious hot chocolate with cream.

We had the most amazing dinner and couldn’t fault these lovely ladies one bit! Outstanding service and the food was delicious even though we were the last ones to be served for the night, arriving late for dinner but they were so gracious. We’re only here for a week but we’ll be back and will bring others!

Fresh and delicious. Sue’s has the best chips on the island hands down. The specials change frequently. I can vouch the Chicken Parmigiana and Mango Salsa grilled fish are both excellent choices. When I’ve arrived with my dog they’ve been kind enough to offer a bowl of water for her. The decor may be a bit dated, but the food is top notch. My favourite cafe here on the island!

We had not been for quite a long time . The meals were prompt and delicious. 3 had baramundi and I had the pork belly salad chef special. Very tasty.we had to sit outside but that was fine as the heaters kept the chill away

Sat down at our table wasn’t very busy. Sat our child in high chair which was sticky and gross didn’t seem like it had been cleaned after the last person. We waited a good 20 minutes before someone came and took our drinks order. We ordered our foods including an entree and kids meal. When the drinks arrived the Moscato was definately left overs as it tasted flat. We had then been waiting another 20 minutes for our entree of a garlic loaf. We watched a table who came in after us and ordered well after us get their kids meals and garlic bread. Still waiting and more people who ordered after us get their entree and kids meals. Then about 30 min later our mains come out. No garlic bread. Steaks were missing the chips we ordered, schnitzel was missing garlic prawn topper. We basically told them to not worry about the garlic bread anymore because it was pointless and the waitress even said “oh haven’t you got that yet”. Although the food was great it wasn’t a pleasant experience. We had one guest ordered an entree as a main and they clearly stated that we wanted the garlic bread before all the meals including the entree that was ordered as a main so not sure why we didn’t receive it. Also I always thought kids meals came first. Not sure what happened but won’t be coming back for awhile.

Food was gr8 best creamy garlic sauce on the island as I’ve tried almost every venue on the island rump steak was cooked to my liking salad was a bit boring but most are on the island service was good but could be improved waited a little while for service but wasn’t too bad overall is 1 of the better places I’ve dined in on the island and I will be returning to sues

Hubby and I went to Sue’s Bar and Grill for a drink and ended up having the best afternoon ever. We danced to a local live band who played a variety of music and just made the bar and grill come to life. Every three weeks they have a live band so we’ll be definitely be going back again.
