I attended the narangba subway, as I have been consistently for the past year, and experienced an extremely hostile and uncomfortable exchange with the female manager. After I finished ordering my subway, the manager proceeded to point out that she only put a certain amount of olives on my subway today as ‘this is all that is required for a sub of this size and that far too often I come in and demand an unneccessary amount’. She then proceeded to tell me that the amount of olives I ask for (2 handfuls of olives) was excessive and that there is no need for me to take ‘half the container of olives each time I come in’. I was completely shocked as I hadn’t asked for any additional olives today due to negative interactions with her in the past and was appalled by her decision to speak to me entirely unprovoked the way she did. I stated that I was aware that while I do ask for extra olives, I had as of recent been paying for an additional 2-3 cookies (which i never actually purchased, but rather paid for them to account for the addition of olives) as reccomended to me by the staff. I previously questioned the staff why they had tried to charge me cookies to which they explained that it was “their boss enforcing this and not them”. I understood and from that point onward allowed them to charge me for extra cookies to offset the cost of the olives. She then proceeded to state that my decision to have so many olives left the staff members ‘feeling extremely uncomfortable as they never knew how to charge me for it’. I was extremely upset at the stage as i had been a frequent customer at this subway and had only ever had positive interactions with the staff (excluding the manager). I was extremely upset and decided that I did not want the subway any longer due to the way she spoke to me and that I would be leaving. She then sarcastically laughed and said “no worries, have a great day”. I am both shocked and upset at the way I was treated today. There is no signage anywhere in the store that states that I am unable to ask for extra salad. All I ask for is onions and olives. I also believe that the fact that I have been paying for 2-3 cookies to cover the charge of the olives has been excessive and should not have been allowed.

The last few times we have been there we get ignored and our food gets made up and sat next to the register and they walk off without saying any thing. When I finally ask if someone can ring up our order so we can eat it before it goes stone cold, the staff give attitude. Once was an awesome place and friendly service but not now….

My husband and I get Subway for dinner sometimes if we’ve had a long day at work. On 3 separate occasions, we’ve received our order, and the chicken fillet has been stone cold. I think you need to have a chat with your staff because clearly someone is just rushing to finish their shift. Judging by the rest of the complaints you guys really need to have a staff meeting because this is people’s health at risk here, your making people sick! Stone cold chicken, really? Do better!

Do not order from this Subway! I have just come out of the hospital with very SERIOUS Campylobacter food poisoning. I noticed the young girl serving me didn’t seem to be trained properly (dropped lettuce into another salad tray and then scooped the lettuce back up and placed it on my sub)- I should have realised how serious this was but I was in a rush. Please do better. Really not fair on customers to be handing out food poisoning.

Placed order the person started it toasted it and pulled it out of the grill and let it sit. A bloke ordered 4 subs then the staffer takes mine and uses it for the bloke. She totally ignores me when questioned. She tries to give me someone else’s with the wrong cheese and other things. Worst fast food service I have ever experienced.

I ordered a chicken classic salad from here about 2 weeks ago and ended up with a severe case of food poisoning. It was so bad I ended up at the doctor and he confirmed it was from a bacteria growing on salad. The person a couple posts down from me looks like they had the same thing- from the lettuce!!!!

I placed an order online through their app so that the food would be ready by the time I got there. I told them I had an online order, they looked confused like they didn’t know what I was talking about. The girl walked off and found the receipt so they didn’t start making the food until I got there which made me late for work. The workers also don’t seem to have any communication skills at all.

Ordered from this Narangba subway on Sunday 07 of jan 2023. Noticed that there was rotten lettuce in my sub but worst I’ve been suffering from chronic food poisoning for the past 4 days. Will be the last time ill be ordering from this place that’s for certain. Thought the motto was eat fresh, not eat rotten
