If you’re like me and want to try every pie shop that you come across in every town you pass through, then you would have to stop at the St George Bakery. They make some of the best pies that I’ve had for a long time – lots of meat and gravy filling plus the extra ingredient such as mushroom or onion if that’s what you desire. The pies are not dry and most importantly the pastry is not thick. In addition the staff servicing behind the counter are extremely friendly. What more could you ask?

Very dissapointed with there potato pies. The base was that soft that my fingers went through it and I had to end up eating it with a spoon as the whole pie collapsed. The flavour was ok but nothing special.
