Absolutely loved this place. Their food is very delicious! Quick and good service. We have attempted to dine in at this place many times at every visit to Halls Gap but due to the business it’s hard to get a table. But finally, it happened, and was really memorable due to a robot waiter which was entertaining everyone with fast delivery. We enjoyed every bit of it! Highly recommended

Ambiance is really good. Service is very quick. Menu is very nice. Food is very good. Quantity is a bit less but taste is very nice. Flavours are nice in all the dishes we ordered. Very nice use of technology. The robot food delivery is fun to watch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The decor outside depict part of panjab, India are amazing.. Keep it up.. Definitely would like to visit again.

Very tasty, fresh food. I highly recommend the butter chicken! We were also very amused by the robot serving the food. There is a great variety of Indian dishes on the menu.

This place is, well… Interesting. The food is great and the staff are quite friendly but here’s the thing; they have robots! These super high tech waiters will bring the food to the table, they a staff member will collect the food from the robot and hand it to you. It’s cute and interesting, but somehow has absolutely no effect on the experience. Give it a go.

One of the best Indian vegetarian curries I have ever eaten. I was bit anxious due to the very limited options in the Halls Gap. However, surprisingly these guys are one of the best in Australia. The staff is very friendly and service is super fast. Can’t recommend enough. It would be great if they have an option of spicy rice.

What an experience. Friendly staff, excellent food but great service!!! Service is by a robot. Entertaining. We ordered a few entrees between the two of us and a main each plus condiments. Very quick service. These guys actually stop you from ordering your main after you have given them your order for the entrees. They give you time. You don’t get that very often, most these days get you out of there to get the next lot in. This restaurant is in Halls Gap, it’s winter and they were pretty full so for them to let you go at your own pace I respect them. I would recommend booking. Next time we dine here I will ask them about how hot/spicy we can have the dishes. This would be the only downfall from the staff. I think they need to ask how hot you would like the dishes as ours were dished up mild only. I think they could probably add in recommendations of side dishes on their menu. Would help with upselling. 9/10

What an absolute treat to eat at this wonderful restaurant. Feeling let down unable to find any other restaurants or pub’s kitchen’s open at 8pm on a Sunday in peak holiday season we were kindly told when phoning to head down and they will arrange a table for us. A scenic 10min walk from the Halls Gap Breeze Caravan we arrived to be greeted by friendly staff who asked our preference on an inside or outside table. It was a lovely warm evening with some storm clouds threatening rain but decided to take the chance and enjoy the balmy evening dining on the terrace. Well we couldn’t have hit the jackpot anymore. Not only did the wildlife turn it on for us with dear meandering in the surrounding field, dragonflies. birds and butterflies playing about as a rainbow appeared in the distance from the short light sprinkle of rain. The restaurant staff waiting patiently for us to order while we took it all in. The food once ordered came out promptly and the presentation was everything you would expect from a top class restaurant. We ordered the tandoori chicken for entree, Mango Lamb, Beef Korma, Garlic Naan and Basmati Rice along with a side of Raita a couple of Corona’s and a glass of the Raven SB which I was most impressed with. It was the most delicious Indian both myself (a lover of Indian cuisine) and my partner (not so much a fan of most Indian meals) have ever had…that’s saying a lot! We are both from WA and I will most definitely be making this a priority restaurant to return to the next time we visit the area. One thing…the midgee’s were out and about so best to bring some mosquito repellent if dining outdoor’s as there is water in the surrounding field that is possibly a breading ground. Thank you Spirit of Punjab for a wonderful dining experience while visiting Halls Gap…we look forward to seeing you again as we eagerly await our next delicious Spirit of Punjab meal!

This was my best experience of indian cuisine in Victoria. We have tried Chicken Malai Tikka, Pulao, Safron rice, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Kurma. Each of the items turned out to be outstandingly delicious. The service was great, staffs are very well behaved. They were really quick and food was fresh and yum. The place is not that costly in respect to the taste of the food. It is also well decorated. You can sit inside or in theke backyard with a beautiful view. Highly recommended.
