I was craving Korean chicken, and came here because of the reviews. At first I was disappointed as they don’t sell chicken on the bone. But I pressed ahead and got the lunch special of 3 chicken thighs and hot chips for $11.50, which having had it was a steal! The chicken was perfectly cooked with the lightest and spicy flavoursome coating of anywhere I have been too. The chips were proper crunchy too! I will be back!

My family and I have eaten here twice are both times have been great. The loaded fries and fantastic, and I had the Gangnam burger just great. The owner made sure we enjoyed our nice meal. My 2 boys who are fussy eaters loved it. Highly recommended.

Ordered on uber eats . Was expecting more food for how much I spent. $17 on the smallest wings I have ever seen , $16 on 5 nuggets and the loaded waffle fries were normal fries ( I understand there has been a potato shortage so I don’t blame them if that’s all they could get) $16 for only 2/3 full box . The food was average in taste as well.

Ordered from this place from Uber eats spent $26 for chicken tenders slaw and dipping sources. After the first one got delivered to a different address I ordered a second time the same order chicken tenders Seoul slaw and dipping sauces. All I got was the chicken tenders . When I called to ask about why my order was incomplete. I got hung up on and then when I called back, I got an angry person telling me that it’s the delivery drivers that are stealing the food, even though the bag was sealed with three strips of tape I even had trouble getting into. Absolutely ridiculous blaming other people for their mistakes and then getting Agro with the person who is a paying customer because they are pointing out said mistakes.

Freshly cooked chicken everytime. Had the buffalo wings and southern thighs. The thigh batter was just right and the chicken was tender and juicy. I recommend the mustard maple sauce. We are always greeted by friendly places. Owner very hands on and looked after customers. Happy to support hard working people offering great products.

If you don’t have the money you can’t run discounts, if your discounts are fake don’t cheat consumers I spent close to an hour waiting for delivery only to be told that my order was unilaterally cancelled by the restaurant, don’t waste other people’s time you could just shut down the delivery platform

If you’re looking for a tasty lunch in Kelvin Grove, look no further than Southern Soul. The friendly staff cook the chicken fresh for every order, and the food is outstanding quality. I would recommend the classic chicken burger and the korean thighs, will definitely be making this place a regular lunch spot 🙂
