Thought we would try Silks after being highly recommended, was really disappointed. Waited over an hour for the meals. Meals come out scattered so people were still waiting for their food while others were finished. Service was atrocious. Servers were more interested in chatting to each other and laughing than serving. The schnitzels were soggy and small and really unappetizing. For my first meal out in Darwin in extremely disappointed and won’t be back for dinner.

The worst food I have eaten. I had Nachos with no sour cream and just passable as edible. My friend had calamari which were all stuck together and were not edible. My other friend got the pick of the day with the chicken wings. A total waste of money

A nice place for food, drinks and much more. Everyday lunch specials only $15. I had chicken parmigiana with a decent potion. Drinks slightly expensive but if you’re member you get members discount and it’s only cost you $5 a year. Gaming room is also pretty nice with latest Pokies machines and quite generous compared with Casino. Plus you get points when you dine in and play slots machines. It’s a kids friendly restaurant as there’s a kids playroom. All in all, it’s a nice place to hand out with friends or have your birthday party.

Normally an enjoyable evening out but tonight it took over an hour for our meals to arrive even though they came after 20 mins to put the order through again. We were not impressed with the wait. Then I ordered a coffee and saw it being made wrong then sit on the bench for over 5 mins before it was brought out to me. Doesn’t deter the establishment, this was probably the first time I’ve been unsatisfied with the service here. They are usually amazing.
