The hot chocolate is to die for. I loved it . The milkshake was creamy and delicious. The flat whites came in a nice size mug. The caffeine infused my body and gave me a great buzz. Recommended! Staff are lovely! Nice good feel place for your morning coffee and other addictions.

My New Yorker sandwich was toasted to perfection with generous fillings.. My wife had a delicious chicken, camembert, avocado and mango chutney sandwich on VERY fresh bread. To our surprise the sandwiches were served with a beautifully presented side salad.. We each had the rich vanilla, caramel & malt milkshakes. The staff were friendly and the cafe was clean. We will definitely return.

This is a nice place to eat if the Food Court is not for you. It is a little expensive however the decor is great, the food is very good and the customer service is excellent (especially a young blonde lady with glasses who has worked there for some time).

Poo gluten free options! Ordered a breakfast and coffee for myself with my partner who is coeliac. Whilst I was eating she ordered from Soul Origin next door and sat back at the table with me, the manager then kicked us both out claiming we aren’t allowed to bring in food from other restaurants and that it was in breach of “covid-19 pandemic rules” ….. which makes absolutely no sense …. Didn’t even get to finish my own food before he forced us out! Total flop will never go back here!

80c for a side (50ml) of lactose free milk, wow new record. I don’t know how the maths is calculated. It costs on average $1.10lt for normal milk and $1.60lt for lactose. The standard milk is already costed anyway and if someone orders a black tea they don’t pay any less. Come on guy’s this is old school practice and terrible customer service. Won’t be going back and please don’t ask me to email so your area manager can contact me. Tell them to spend the time reviewing the practices and training the teams.

Very poor value for money. “Kids high tea” at $12 was worth maybe half that for the portion sizes. Sausage rolls and sandwiches were quarter serves. My “goodness bowl” took half an hour, by which time my family were finished their dishes. I took one look at my bowl, said ‘nope’, and asked for my money back.

It took 25 minutes to get our food when there were only 3 other people in the shop ? My husband’s eggs Benedict was ok, but my open toastie of ham, cheese and pineapple was served on toast that was burnt til it tasted like charcoal. I would have asked for it to be done again, but after waiting so long for it in the first place, we had to be somewhere else, so didn’t have time to wait.

Ahh the memories. Remember the Shingle Inn in Central Brisbane ? Now where is the window full of cakes and cake boxes tied up with string to take home.

Been a while since I went there last time and was really impressed with their service and products. Loved the coffee but what makes want to go back for more was the scone. I still can’t get over how crumbly, buttery and flaky that scone was. Regardless of the fact that it is inside a shopping center, we had a good time sitting down and having a little chilling time. It was a lovely experience.

Today I had my birthday lunch at Shingle Inn North Lakes, via a gift card I received for my birthday. The food was great especially with a couple of added sides and the iced coffee was good with added cream.
