This is the first time I went to this restaurant. We ordered dry pots with no spicy, drinks and pumpkin pie. We spent around $70 for two people eat twice. Because we didn’t finished at lunch so we took it out for dinner as well. The flavor was not bad. But I think if we order spicy pot, it might be better than no spicy pot. Anyway, pretty much things inside, and we enjoyed.

We tried to find a place for late dinner and decided to try this restaurant after walking around Chinatown. Surprisingly, the dish was quite good. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. Having been used to Singapore’s ma la, this one offers a different experience. It was also less oily and pepper. I loved the slice pork, squid, and sweet potato noodle. Overall, it was a enjoyable dinner.

Went here recently with my wife. Staff were not overly helpful about the ordering process so we just had noodle bowls. They were great, full of flavour. Now that we know how to order the “Master Bowl” we will go for that next time.

Used to be the best 麻辣香锅in Sydney, but now they seems unable to control the level of spicy because they are using packed sauce as everyone could buy easily in the supermarket. We ordered super mild spicy, and it came with devil hot. Cannot taste other flavor except spicy. Very disappointing

They use regular instant noodles and the soup is not broth but plain water. Absolutely shocking. It’s like making instant noodles but forgot to put the flavour powder pack. This is like nothing I’ve had in any Chinese restaurant in all 4 decades of eating Chinese food.

Food objectively is great but I have to agree the flavour has gone down hill a bit over the years, I think maybe the chef has changed? Either way just a word of advice to the restaurant – sort your chefs behaviour out, smoking directly outside the restaurant door is not suitable under any circumstance. At least walk 10-20m away from the front door so the smell of cigarette smoke isn’t directly wafting towards people who are eating.
