Great food and friendly staff. You end up spending a bit more than some of the other cafes in Maitland but it is a nice spot and worth the outing. My only feedback would be that I wasn’t sold on the idea of an open steak sandwich, it only made it more difficult to eat by not having both sides with bread. Overall a great place for food and coffee and I’m sure I will be back.

Got a spot here over the June long weekend and so glad we did as the food and service were bang on! The portions were so generous, delicious and high quality. Staff were very attentive and made our time there so enjoyable! Highlight of our food in the Hunter for cafes!

This delightful cafe is attached to the Art Gallery & Gift Shop. Indoor & outdoor dining. Outdoor dining accessible by wheelchair at side entrance. Staff are so sweet & friendly. I had a chicken salad adapted to be vegetarian & it was so fresh & delicious. Almond milk available, variety of herbal teas and healthy drinks avail. GF options in delicious cake selection. Very busy in the morning & at lunch. Play room for children off the indoor dining area.

Really excellent food and coffee. This was our first visit on a recommendation so we decided to head on out from Newcastle last Sunday. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Cafe has good COVID safe rules in place too. Outdoor courtyard seating is plentiful all surrounded by garden and there’s more inside seating. Definitely recommend the veggie lasagne and big brekkie eggs and bacon. We will be back!
