Had a late dinner here and have no desire to return. While the chicken wings were crispy enough, the barramundi was much too salty, and much too scant for the whopping price of $30. Service was lacklustre and inattentive, especially given we were one of a handful of tables still being served at the time.

The food was underwhelming- a few mint leaves in the beef salad with no mint flavour coming through. The wok noodles didn’t have vegetables other than onion. The cold rolls were nice.

Saigon Secret is a lovely small Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Carlton, I love their space and their beautiful interior. I also loved the amount of seating available indoor and outdoor.

My friend and I had a great time here. It’s a cool little spot to eat at especially on a Tuesday night. The Pho was incredibly tasty and the restaurant stands out among Rathdowne Street. We also had some good laughs with our waiter Javan who provided us with great service and helped make our night.

Authentic Vietnamese food with a modern twist. Saigon secret is all about fresh and flavoursome food, fantastic service and a great vibe. We really enjoyed our dinner here. We ordered the chicken satay skewers with pineapple and cherry tomatoes (SO yum), Peking duck wraps (solid fave), angry beef stirfry (so fresh and packed with tender beef and veggies) and the crispy pork salad (delicious). Every dish was amazing and their homemade lemon, lime bitters went down a treat. Will be back!

I’m not a family member this is a genuine customer. Ordered the pho soup, not really traditional flavors didn’t enjoy much. Bahn Mi was average very little filling. Will stick to my local area for Vietnamese food with better flavors. When paying was asked how was everything told didn’t enjoy & just got back a surprised look. Just look at the cafe next door how big that line is they must be doing something right.
