I don’t really understand what’s the hype about this place as it was recommended in a lot of websites as a must visit in a Hunter valley, so okay they Do have a wide variety of cakes and options which is great but the quality of the cakes and pastries were not that good. At least my preference I mean I know I’ve had so many much better options and higher quality products elsewhere and that’s why I’m saying this, but maybe for people who have never tried anything else that’s the best they can have. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad and it’s great for the Hunter Valley, but they can be better. We got two cakes and two cookies and the cakes were just overly sweet and they didn’t taste real. They had an artificial flavour. The portion is big, and the price is reasonable though, so I would say still give it a visitor.

So our last stop was a well deserved Dessert Bar for some afternoon tea. What a lovely venue with Hunter Vally & Australia’s Great Dividing Mountain range views.

Located in the picturesque Hunter Valley, this establishment offers a delightful setting that is sure to captivate your senses. It is advisable to contact them in advance, especially on weekends, to ensure a table reservation. The pleasant view of the surrounding countryside adds to the overall charm.

Lovely setting overseeing the vineyards. A must visit if you are dessert lover and after an amazing experience. There is a brewery below so do check it out. Has ample parking spots. A very popular spot and they do get busy. Worth the wait.

We went in with no reservation as it was fully reserved online, but they were more than happy to accommodate us which we were grateful for.

So much choice!! Friendly service and quite quick considering how busy and bustling they were for a Sunday on the long weekend! If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend Sabor Dessert Bar. Totally lived up to our expectations after following (and drooling) on FB for awhile! Something for everyone and amazing views too.

Lovely views of the vineyards. Friendly service. Desserts are quite big. I had the mango pav which was lovely. My partner had the pina colada crunch, the rice puffs weren’t very nice, like stale or had been in the cabinet a few days. Was good to experience though.
