First thing that surprised me was having to wear a mask. Then the wait was so long at lunch time due to only 1 person behind the counter. Bought a pie and a caramel tart. Pie was steak and kidney, delicious. The caramel tart hmm wasn’t anywhere near the pie. Would do that pie again, no to the tart.

Rudest bakery in australia? Sign at the front long after covid saying masks must be worn, when I asked the owner why her son who works there wasn’t wearing one he stuck his finger up at me and the owner was abusive and said it’s only everyone else who’s sick, not them. Locals say it’s a common occurrence, must be more special than everyone else.

I. Stopped in here on my way through town heading out west, I was told to go back and get a mask, I replied that the restrictions were no longer enforced and was told I had to wear one if I wanted service, I walked back to the car got a mask was waiting my turn to order, a lady was standing beside me without a mask on but nothing was said to her. Must be 1 rule for out of towners and 1 for locals. Found them to be quite rude. Do yourself a favour and go a bit further up to the other bakery

Plenty of bakery or savoury snack options. Good option for a quick meal and it is popular with locals.

Sept ‘22 and no entry without a mask. I accept that this decision is at the owner’s discretion but I along with 90% of the Australian population have moved on from these draconian restrictions……..
