Booked a private Lunch function here for my mother’s surprise 80th Birthday party. My sister liaised with Staff before and during the event . Staff were friendly and obliging to our requests prior to and during our event re food and service.

The meals were nothing special but they have a self-serve salad bar that was well stocked which is why I gave the food 4 stars. Our meals came pretty quickly. The environment was good. I’d be happy to go there again.

The food was ok, the salad bar had a good selection. I stupidly ordered a main and also ate from the salad bar. They wouldn’t let me take the rest of my main home in case I added extras from the salad bar. Such a waste. Atmosphere is your standard tavern, pretty relaxed.

Food is really good. We go as a group and love it. The one issue I have is the salad,or not! A few bitter dried out leaves with a half micro tomato and some rubbish sprinkled on top is NOT a salad.
