Sydney Domestic Airport – Bought a Vegan – Chicken Lemon Grass n Chilly. Also a Vietnamese Ice coffee. The food had no flavour, very very serious concern. I love Viet food and this is the first time I had this experience. Although the coffee was good. The vegan chicken tasted like tumeric, no flavour of lemon grass or chilly. In airports we pay a lot of money for food and this is unacceptable. I fly every 3 weeks and most of the times I eat at the airports. I will not recommend this meal at all. The staffs also need training, as when I gave them the feedback about the chilly, they casually said to me “we dont add much chilly”. I told them you should have asked me about the level of chilly i wanted to eat. Where did the tables go? No tables to eat at the location?

Airport food usually sucks I know that. But can’t they do a little better? It’s a franchised restaurant they should have some standard and proper procedures when making food.

Ordered a Banh mi and it was the worst ever. Pork was boiled and not bbq, carrot wasn’t pickled, not sure if the crackling was crackling, there was no sauce and there was no chilli. The only thing they got right was the cucumber and I hate cucumber. Will never come back.

After seeing all the bad reviews for this place I feel inclined to share my experience, for me the place was great! a little pricey but you can come to expect that from airport venues. The banh mi was quite large however and very tasty, I had no issues with staff and place felt quite cozy. would go again when ever I’m taking a flight.

Overpriced, bland; bowl was all rice and not much else.

Avoid at all costs! The worst Roll’d in the entire country. Bahn mi was absolutely horrendous, old bread, no mayo, no paté and dry grated carrots that must have been sat there for days… My roll came with bbq chicken, cucumber and dry carrot… That does not make a Bahn Mi!! To make matters worse, I was not told upon ordering that they were out of those ingredients. This is blatant robbery. Shameful

*FOOD POISONING* Please stay away. I bought the BBQ Pork bahn mi and had to check into hospital and receive an injection for constant vomiting less that 12 hours later. I was a bit suspect on the roll whilst i was eating it but was too hungry and kept eating and then eventually paid the price. I had to literally take 3 days off work and stay at home with constant fatigue, never again.

$9.95 for two rolls would be okay for an airport except they were dry and flavourless. The sauce helped but honestly a little more veggies and herbs would go a long way to not making you feel like you’re dry swallowing rice.
