Roku den is a Japanese-inspired restaurant and sushi bar in Torquay that takes pride in sourcing all Australian seafood and working with local producers such as Raven’s Creek Farm, White Cat Wines and more. Amazing restaurant. The food is mind blowing, you can taste every single element in every bite you take. First time eating seared kingfish – not disappointed at all – probably the best so far. Loved the scallops and the sauce oooh yum. The hot sake was perfect with the food and we loved the jasmine tea. We ordered the chicken at the end because we wanted to try the rice, everything was perfect, the rice was well cooked, the veggies were just steamed with a sauce on them and the chicken!!! A delish

The food was beautiful. Chicken yakitori was juicy and tender; poke bowl seasoned with citrusy yuzu flavour. The Cheesy dip of tofu fires was fabulous. Amazing experience, highly recommended.

I am absolutely in love with this restaurant. I wish I lived closer so I could go their all the time. The service was impeccable by the lovely young lady that looked after us. The mixed sashimi was to die for and the scallops had the most delicious sauce.

First time going to Roku Den, and I was not disappointed. The steamed rice entree came out in a large bowl with a much larger serving than most Japanese restaurants offer, for a good price. The food was well-presented and everything I tried was delicious. The staff were friendly, and asked us how we were, how our day was going, and how the food was.
