Great food – hot, fresh and tasty! We drove through at 12.20pm 21/8 and I asked the same question about 3-4 times to the lady taking orders at the drive through – she was patient and professional although I probably seemed painful and not accepting the information she was giving out. Ordered two 1/4 chicken and chips with wing sections. Ended up with one containing an undercooked leg section in one, the other having a wing section but also included an overcooked neck, covered in bones, that looked like it had been in the hot box for a long time. We were travelling through town, and didn’t stop to eat until about 20km from town, so didn’t take these rubbish meals back for a refund. Very disappointed, as we’ve never had this trouble at the dozens of other Red Rooster outlets before.

The best Red Rooster I have been to ever. Firstly the store was immaculate. All tables were clean and couldn’t see a piece of rubbish anywhere. The staff member who served me (Shaylee B) was amazing, she was friendly kind and I felt that she genuinely wanted to be there to serve her customers. This is something that you don’t find often in the service industry anymore. She definitely deserves some recognition.

It’s a shame the outdoor dining area was closed when I visited: it was so cold indoors that even the staff were wearing jumpers. Tone back the air-con in Winter, guys! The staff were friendly. Quite a wait on my order, though, and the chips were soggy.
