Italian place with the best Italian food in Clare. The ragu pasta has lots of meat and it taste just like homemade. The kids meat balls is just as good too! Priscilla was very friendly and quick to serve. The place is beautiful with lots of stone work and lots of local history.

Honestly 5 stars just on the steak alone – the way everything was cooked, flavours accompanied each other and the presentation was lovely. Could have done with some more potatoes or potentially even a few greens to compliment would have been the real cherry on top. Nonetheless could have gone 2, even 3 serves of this just to myself. Absolutely delicious

The locals described this as stunning so expectations were high. It exceeded them if anything. The restaurant is named after the signature dish Maccheroni Al Ragu (pictured) which was 5 hour cooked pork and beef in tomato. Definitely one of the best Ragus I’ve had the pleasure of eating and I’ve eaten my way through quite a bit of Italy. Well done guys. The duck pasta on a bed of celeriac was also excellent, as was the tiramisu. The service was delightful and the atmosphere was lovely. I took off one star because it was cold but we did visit very early in the evening and they had fires going. Will be top of my list to revisit when we return to Clare in another two years, alongside the Sevenhill Pub.

Drove past this place on our way up to Flinders Range’s and thought it looked nice so decided to make a stop on the way back to Adelaide to try it. So, so glad we did, one of the best meals I’ve had in Australia. Arancini starter was perfect, had a small and shared between two which I’d advise as the main portions are generous. Main was sublime so much flavour and cooked to perfection. We had the tiramisu for dessert and again, perfect, I have had my fair share of poor tiramisu this wasn’t one of them! Service was impeccable all night as well, very knowledgeable about all the wines they sell. Can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, well worth a visit!

Authentic Italian food, it has won many awards and is highly recommended by locals, busy restaurant so parking isn’t the easiest with its location but has a good vibe with a good atmosphere.

Brilliant Italian restaurant in Clare! 2 highlights for me. The Truffle arancini and the black ink spaghetti with crab. Arancini was cooked to crispy perfection on the outside and moist inside with truffle flavours and the spaghetti al dente and I loved the combination of sour vs sweet and savoury! Pizza was good. Recommended

Thanks to the team at Ragu and Co. We drove from The Barossa for Friday dinner hoping it would be worth the drive and it did not disappoint. Delicious and authentic Italian food in Clare. My wife had Spagetti Marinara and it was made with full flavour everything else was excellent. My hanger steak done perfectly. Thanks to the team for doing such a good job. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it.

Stunning food, and the staff are lovely. Despite being a Saturday night and they were honest as we were waiting for a table that there might be a wait due to staff shortage (Which is so common now in almost every industry). It was definitely worth the wait, we had the antipasto, saffron prawn rissoto, and the delicious ragu. Finish off with a panna cotta to share. We can’t wait to come back to try other items on the menu.
