Rafter and Rose is a leafy oasis in the middle of the city. Order inside and either sit in the laneway surrounded by plants or inside in the upcycled furniture surrounded by books and an eclectic display. The food is exceptional with all day breakfast options, burgers and freshly baked treats. Don’t miss out on dessert, the house-made cakes and tarts are exceptional!

As the folks behind Bremer River Digital Marketing, we often find ourselves in need of a place to unwind and recharge. Rafter and Rose has become that sanctuary for us. As tea enthusiasts, we’re thrilled by the diverse and delicious tea selection this local Ipswich gem offers.

Rafter & Rose is my favourite place to get breakfast in all of Australia. I highly recommend the acai flow bowl for breakfast – it’s basically ice cream, but super healthy (right?)! Atmosphere is great too, definitely worth the trip to Ipswich.

Was really excited to try this adorable cafe but unfortunately the delivery didn’t match expectations. It was a bit slow to order which is fine as it was busy.

Staff were incredibly thoughtful and friendly. The place was packed. For good reason but they kept me informed about a table and took great care. Coffee was excellent. Loved the jam donut. The meals looked great too. All round brilliant.

Food is good with excellent value for money with support from local farmers. Light, relaxing atmosphere, lot of beautiful plants around. One of the best cafes in Ipswich. Great friendly staff and outstanding customer service. Coffee is lovely, as well you can ask for a house-made caramel.

We came this cafe few months ago but we couldn’t have brunch because of the long queue. Good to sit outside if the weather is mild. Love all the plants and greenery vibe. Food and coffees were great. We spent $59.5 (2 coffess+2 meals)
