Went to Prem’s Seafood Bar & grill for dinner whilst in town. Didn’t really know what to expect coming here but it was very enjoyable. Plenty of food options. A bit on the pricey side of things but good quality so. We had the steak and duck which were brilliant. The only thing I would comment on was that I was there for business and my guests plates were removed before I finished eating. I understand this is a no no in the hospitality industry but it made me feel a little uncomfortable and like I had to hurry through. Not a big issue, just something to note. All in all really great and would highly recommend!

Visiting Devonport and dropped in for dinner. The interior was well designed, great atmosphere, seats were full and there was a respectable line of people waiting to get in (so it’s popular). Food was on the better end. My only gripe.. it took between 1.5 – 2 hours for the mains to be served, which not something I’d usually accept. Otherwise, waitstaff were courteous and attentive. I’d try this place again, but I can’t give them 5 stars at this time.

We visited this place just before leaving on the SoT on the 5th of June – Honestly, this is one of the BEST places I have ever been to. From the moment we stood at the door, we were warmly greeted by a staff member – At the time, I didn’t know it was the owner of the restaurant, ‘Prem’ himself and what an amazing man and story he has to tell. You could not find a more entertaining, more personable man anywhere who clearly genuinely cares about each and every single customer, ensuring that everyone has an outstanding experience which is inline with his mission statement on the menu. Food wise, it was exceptional. The price did not match the extreme quality and presentation. A place like this in Melbourne would be charging double the price – quite easily.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and the food is excellent. Very well priced too. A great surprise in Devonport. Had the seafood platter and it was huge! Busy Saturday night but no rush to get us off the table. Owner was present and clearly popular with his staff, always a good sign. Highly recommend.

Put Prem’s on your “must visit” list in Devonport! What a fabulous atmosphere, with friendly wait staff and a very charismatic owner! We rated the natural oysters the best in Devonport and I loved the Mooloolaba prawns with orange salad. We sampled the sticky date pudding, apple tartin and creme brulè for desert and weren’t disappointed! The Speyton hard ginger beer was a perfect accompaniment – *cross promotion: go check out their cellar door tasting tray! Thanks Prem’s for looking after these hungry Qlders!

I was here for lunch with a friend. The service was very quick and the staff were very knowledgeable. The food was quick to come out and were very large portions for the price point. The food itself tasted exceptional. Definitely the best scallops I have ever had. I would highly recommend a visit.

This is one of the best meal we had around the north area. We came here on a public holiday, luckily it was open. Food quality was GREAT. I did not take a photo of the steak but it was cooked perfectly, also got the charcoal taste to it, better than many other steak restaurants that we’ve been to! The seafood linguine had a range of seafood in it and was good value for money. We were so glad that we drove from penguin just to visit this place, highly recommended!
