I recently visited Piegon Whole Bakers in Hobart, Tasmania and I was thoroughly impressed. Not only is the name of the bakery quirky and distinctive, but the coffee was excellent and the bakery products were delicious. I can’t wait to visit them again on my next trip to Hobart!

This bakery lives up to the good reviews! I got the Tosca Bun as I’d never heard of it before, and it did not disappoint. A soft bread with cinnamon & almond flavours inside and a sticky/chewy crust – too yummy!

Best bakery/patisserie I’ve tried in Hobart. Can be pretty busy in the mornings but well worth it.

The best pastry maker uncovered in Hobart. Beautiful crusted pastries baked to perfection. The queues at this place speaks for itself how good the pastries at this place. The palmiers were a delight to eat, buttery and flaky on the outside and moist on the inside. It was like a daily ritual to visit this place while visiting Hobart to come and taste all their pastries. The coffee and service by all staff was definitely outstanding. Definitely a must to taste all delicious goodies by the locals and anyone visiting this beautiful bakery.

Delicious, flaky pasties. The coffee was good. I would highly recommend the pesto scroll and the croissants. There is limited seating if you want to eat in.

Popular bakery in the middle of the city. Lined up first thing in the morning for breakfast. Staff were friendly and got through orders pretty quickly.

Great pastries, albeit a little expensive. It makes for a delectable treat, although you’ll break your wallet and the scales if you go there every day.

The pastries are flaky and crispy on the outside, which gives a delightful sound of crunch when you bite into it. The inside is airy and fresh, and the topping has the right amount of flavor and sweetness!

Got up this morning by very sick tummy due to food I mistakenly ordered from Korean chicken place so could’t eat anything this morning. And felt like some light stuff to calm down my stomach and found this place, and walked in without much expectation, turned out great buns and coffee. The morning bun I had is second to none.. gosh.. and you guys made my day 🙂
