My wife and I enjoyed a superb dinner at Pier One. This restaurant has a beautiful view across the lake and is both modern and cozy inside. A log fire was crackling away on this cold night, adding to a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff were pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable of the entire menu of both wine and food. The food we both enjoyed was excellent. A comprehensive menu provides choice for everyone. Each course was mouth watering. We had a great Sunday evening there and I strongly recommend this superb restaurant.

What a wonderful restaurant! My friends and I showed up half an hour before they opened without a reservation. Instead of turning us away they invited us in for some drinks near the fire. The beer and wine selection was VERY NICE. The food was magnificent. The staff – warm, friendly and professional. My only criticism is the lack of vegetarian options (why would a vegetarian walk into a seafood restaurant, you may ask – because some of them have friends). But honestly, what a gem. Our experience was amazing – thank you!

My partner and I always have a great experience when we visit, lovley atmosphere overlooking Merimbula lake and nice warm wood fire. The food never disappoints, always consistent and such a great range different tastes to suit everyone’s palate. Highly recommended. Thanks again guys for a great evening.

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was exceptional! Not a single fault. We ordered the rib eye and pork belly and this was without a doubt the most amazing meal I’ve had out.

It was okay. Seems very hard to get friendly service anywhere on the NSW Sapphire coast at this time of year (Dec-Jan). Everyone seems grumpy! I ordered an olive tapenade, but got roasted garlic gloves instead. They gave me a bowl of Kalamata olives to make up for it. It was average.
