We had quick brunch at this popular Vietnamese restaurant and ordered two dishes i.e. their signature Mi Quang noodle soup dish and fried rice noodle with seafood bits (prawn, scallop, squid). We like the noodle soup which is very unique and the pork meat slices were tender / juicy, but the soup given were quite stingy. There was not much seafood provided as well despite the menu description. Similar with the fried rice noodle, i.e. the taste was OK but the produce provided was not much and of lower quality frozen seafood ones. This is a bit disappointing since the prices on the menu are quite premium compared to competition in the suburb.

I tried mi quang for the first time , it was delicious although portion is not very big . Price is considered higher than average $18.50 .

Their specialty, mi quang ($18.5), consists of flat rice noodles (hor fun) dyed yellow with turmeric, in a relatively sweet pork/chicken broth, with lots of pork slices, a couple pieces of fried pork belly, 2 tail-on prawns, a fish/prawn cake, and garnishes of toasted peanuts, coriander, bean sprouts, herbs and crispy rice crackers. Worth a try!

We had a bowl of Pho and a Bun Bo Hue which is our usual go to for this spot. Solid tasting food and fast service. Only complaint is don’t sit directly by the window, you’ll here and smell everytjing happening on John St.

First time here and wasn’t too bad. Service was friendly but they seemed a little bit rushed off their feet. Noodles word nice as were the spring rolls. However the deep fried wontons were overcooked and overly crispy. The broken rice was also quite dry. However it wasn’t an unpleasant experience and would definitely try it once more.

Okay Vietnamese restaurant mainly serving Pho. Great location in John Street but the food and service are okay. Expensive for Cabramatta prices. Heater wasn’t on so it can get chilly.
