We were the local Chinese restaurant in 18 broadwater ave, hope island for 19 years. We have relocated to 3/300 marine parade Labrador since May 2021. Please note that Peking duck on the menu would need 24 hours notice. Come to dine in on the day, Peking duck would be up to availability. Please call the restaurant to confirm Peking duck availability to avoid disappointment. Classic Chinese dishes that reminds me of Malaysian home style dishes. The crispy skin chicken was a delight. The salt and pepper prawns is also recommendable – very tasty.

We came for the Peking Duck and we were not disappointed. The manager of the restaurant is excellent and attentive she would fit in a 5 Star restaurant no problem. The surroundings are not 5 Star but it didn’t matter as we were with friends. A couple of members of staff need to up their game a little they are friendly but need to pay attention to the orders. In one instance our order was given to another table despite us advising that it was ours. Another member of staff is a little over friendly and fails to take note of clients preferences. Otherwise I would go again no problem.

Ordered the duck that just melted in our mouths. Salt and pepper prawns, sweet and sour pork and special fried rice were delicious. This is our favourite Chinese restaurant as the food is always delicious and service excellent.

Probably the best chinese I’ve had to date. Everything we ordered was delicious – chicken fried rice, sweet n sour pork, bbq pork chow mein, won ton soup. It can get busy so best to book for dinner if you don’t go early. Can’t wait to return and try more dishes. Highly recommend.

Ordered delivery. Turned up cold. Spoke with restaurant who proceeded to blame the delivery driver. Rice was mushy and clumpy zero seasoning. More closely resembles rice pudding than fried rice. Chicken in batter again was cold and soggy as it had been put together with sauce in the same container?? Beef curry was over thickened or reduced bland and un-seasoned. prices on average were approx 30% to 40% higher than others in the area which I assumed would be reflected in the product but unfortunately this was far from true. Staff were unhelpful when I rang to complain. Certainly wouldn’t recommend or use them again.

Ok, if I order chicken with satay sauce, I expect just that & nothing less! U don’t get to just steem some pieces of chicken, throw in some choped vegetabels & a pinch of cashew nuts, then call it chicken with satay sauce!!?? Hello, that’s deception! Where’s the satay sauce in that? & unfortunately I didn’t notice until I got home! I don’t like restaurants that deceive their customers, so u can count me out! My first & last time there that’s for sure! Worst satay chicken I’ve ever had & I had plenty from lots of different restaurants around the country, this is the worst by far! Thankfully, there’s plenty of other restaurants to choose from!!! C ya!
