Peking Chinese restaurant is located in the alley way between the main road Argyle St and the post office on Clarence Street. It’s front entrance doesn’t inspire much and seems basic. It looks like a traditional country town Chinese restaurant from the 80s.

Amazing food, the chef came to our table before we ordered and guided us based in our preferences. There is not only Chinese food, it also have Malaysian specials. I had an Malaysian chicken curry with coconut milk rice. Was just perfect!

I enjoyed eating here a lot. The chef was so accommodative, giving us recommendations on what he thought we would like and the number of dishes we should order based on 9 people. Service was really good, food came out in no time. The portion size for each dish were quite big, tasted delicious, and pricing was very reasonable – very much worth the value. Recommend to go here if you want good quality Chinese and Malaysian food for an affordable price!
