Was in Port Douglas last week and my partner and I decided to try this place for dinner one night. I’m surprised by so many bad reviews as we had a wonderful experience. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and checked on us throughout the night. I had the tagliatelle ragu and my partner had the lamb special. Both dishes were spectacular. We then shared a cannolo and the tiramisu. I think the tiramisu was one of the best we have ever had! Grazie mille per la bella serata!

This is an excellent Italian restaurant. Food is perfect. Authentic Italian food. Was really surprised to find a restaurant of this quality in a holiday town. Had the seafood pasta followed by the cannoli. Service was excellent and very friendly.

This place looks unassuming from the outside but don’t let that fool you. It serves up deliciously authentic pasta dishes, every one a winner. But the stand out has to be the seafood pasta. Wow. Even the bread in this place is on point. And Gavin took care of our table of 7 including 3 rowdy kids with patience and a smile. Great little find. Don’t miss it.

WOW. Food was so good, we had to thank the chefs. Best meal we had in PD and reasonably priced. The wait staff we accommodating and friendly, made suggestions and they were spot on. Had the specials which were a coral trout cevechi and the kingfish ragu with capers and olives. Amazing. Will be going back when we are up that way again.

High dining prices, in a pub setting. After ordering three kids meals at $15 each, with the portion the size of a small cats bowl. The owner came out, looked at my family then started telling the waiter off in front of us as she thought we were trying to undercut the restaurant by ordering an extra kids meal. It was incredibly rude.The situation made us all feel very uncomfortable, to the point we where ready to leave.

Service 2.5 stars food 4.5 stars. We ignored the mixed reviews to experience it for ourselves. Food is delicious authentic Italian food, perfect homemade pasta! The front of house main waitress unfortunately let it down. The service was so bad it tainted the entire experience. Entrees didn’t come out until we asked again, (olives and bread) we had to ask for our entrees to be cleared and mains to come out after 45mins of waiting to be cleared. The customer service was poor. It was only us and a few other tables and we were still waiting on meals and barely being checked on by the staff.

The setting does not do it justice. The chef is seriously talented, my chargrilled steak was absolutely perfect and so was the rest of the food. The service is friendly and fun, wine selection has something for everyone from affordable to great. A must visit here in Port Douglas
