If I could give them no star I would. We ordered via the table barcode system and waited 20 min for the only drink (iced coffee). After 45min we asked the waiter to check on our order to which it took him another 10 to figure out they hadn’t got our order despite having received the drink we ordered. No apology from any of the staff was offered. Would absolutely not recommend.

Enjoyed getting morning tea at this beautiful diner in Coolongatta. Located in The Strand shopping centre, on Marine Parade Coolongatta, on the same level as Woolworths. Staff are friendly, restaurant was clean with beautiful views to the beach, and I loved the old fashioned American diner tables and chairs.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took them 35 minutes to get out an iced coffee and orange juice (2 of 6 drinks ordered) and then 15 minutes on top of that to get any food out at all. Finally after over an hour all the food was out. I attribute this to thie prioritisation of take away and delivery customers rather than dine in. Servers were unapologetic and denied having forgot about the order (remember, 35 minutes for 2 drinks). After we went to the counter to remind them, food came out very quickly. The food was also poor, with the pancakes being dry and awful, wich is surprising coming from a so-called pancake diner. All of the other food tasted watered down and was certainly not worth its price. Drinks were good. Also, we were given a 4 person booth despite having a reservation for 6 (placed well in advance).

First time coming to the Pancake Diner and would highly recommend. We are a simple couple and love a nice, delicious and simple meal. We couldn’t fault a single thing. Slightly pricey however worth it so I don’t see it as a fault.
