We had a wonderful anniversary dinner here. I won’t deny we were a little sceptical of this place at the beginning because it’s part of a motel; but oh my gosh! We were proved wrong when we got to taste the fabulous food we order. First, I was afraid of trying the onion rings as I thought they would be all greasy as other places, but I loved them … the best onion rings I ever had. We also were delighted with the three cheeses bread cob…. Oh my gosh! So delicious! My husband order lamb roast and I had the chicken Mignon, no need to say that it was all delicious. Great experience, delicious food and their staff so friendly, specially Nelson. We will sure come back here whenever we have a chance.

6 of us had dinner here on a Thursday night. Staff were friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. Menu is varied and prices are reasonable. 2 of us ordered the lamb rump, which was cooked to perfection. The rump steak was slightly overdone, but not worth worrying about. The chicken mignon was on the dry side. The portions were generous.

A hidden gem. We were sceptical, as the restaurant is attached to a motel. And we were happily proven wrong! Great bread starter (Cobb although the Bruschetta at the next table looked fantastic). Great local wine list- our Cab Sav superb), delicious mains (fillet and lamb- that’s my lamb in the photo). Thank you to Peter and Nelson for great attitude to service. And they have only just opened to inhouse dining after Covid lockdowns and restrictions. Whew, what a gem.

The photos on the website are extremely misleading when it comes to the breakfast. Only instant coffee, and the photo was the 3 egg omelette they served me. The egg portion had zero seasoning and the ham isn’t even cut up, it looks like it went from packet onto what can only be described as an egg pancake.
