The cakes were nice, well presented on plates, service was pushy and wrong order. Iced coffee does not have vanilla or CARAMEL flavour in them. Would only make one new coffee even though it was wrong. A bit pricey too.

Excellent quality food that tasted great. We had breakfast, which would have made it too cold in the outdoor dining area which looks out over the runways. Aeroplane inside was interesting. Good to be able to view the Royal Flying Doctor Service too.

We had mid-week lunch here and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I ordered the steak sandwich with black truffle mayonnaise and it was delicious. Chips that came with the dish were also crispy and fresh.

Most of the food looked pretty nice, waitress was very friendly (she even agreed the management were rude), however charged $18 for one piece of toast with avocado! Asked the manager if i could change the coffee from a mug to a take away container, as i had been waiting 20 minutes and had not started to be made, the look she gave me in disgust. The manager and another male waiter were extremely rude, don’t know how they plan to stay in business. I certainly suggest you give this place a miss, slow service, rude owners, etc. The Royal Flying Doctors Service exhibition is great however, very informative and inspirational work these people are doing all over the country.

About 2.30pm, our group of 6 entered cafe and we went to order at counter, but were asked to sit and they’d come and take our order. The cafe wasn’t busy, with one other couple, who went up and ordered at counter Immediately after us …. hmm. We waited 7 minutes, during which staff came out, swept the floor, cleared a table, glanced at us absentmindedly. So we left. On our way out, a young waitress ever so slowly cleaned a kitchen bench and watched us leave in complete disinterest. I get it, half an hour to closing, couldn’t be bothered to take another order, especially from a big group. But just tell us. Would have loved to support the Flying Drs cafe …… maybe we’ll try again another time.

Very disappointed with change of menu. Now very limited and two of my favourites missing. Was looking forward to usual steak sandwich. Have recommended highly in the past but not now. Service still good and so is the coffee but probably won’t be going back for a meal anytime soon.
