Back in the day, it would have been the late 90s, I used to love travelling into Newtown (in Sydney) with friends. Part of the experience was always getting some Oportos for lunch or dinner then making the train trip back out west. Oportos was something different than the other burgers and fast foods, the shop was in an old petrol station, it had vibe. This store isn’t bad, but it feels like a pale corporate of those days…it just doesn’t capture the magic.

Bad experience. Not what you’d expect at a supposed quality controlled franchise. Toilets were unclean, no soap in the dispensers of the women’s OR men’s toilets to my family’s dismay. All three burgers had hardly any vegetables or sauce in them (?cutting costs). When I approached the counter staff (a female Indian staff member. Wish she was wearing a badge so I could write her name here), and politely asked for more sauce because our burgers were dry she wanted to charge me for the sauce. I (also politely) told her I was not willing to pay for a $1 packet of sauce I needed to fix three badly made burgers, she rolled her eyes at me and rudely shoved the sauce packet at me. No apology or anything. Never eating there again

I had a Veggie meal with Avocado in it. The food was amazing and delicious (good portion and Juicy), from preparation to presentation, very pleasant and the atmosphere was very welcoming and lovely. staff were very friendly. We highly recommend it!!

Scanned my rewards app code twice and still didn’t work. Untrained staff. I had an offer on the app. When I asked about why I didn’t get the reward. They apologised and said use it next time. I said refund me and scan the app the lady “which was looking like owner/manager” said it wont work even if I refund you. Overall what I am saying is service is not good.
