Excellent food. You must try the Tomahawk if you are a meat lover and passing through Charleville. Update 2023; Tomahawk is still awesome, if not even better than a coupe years ago.

We ordered steaks here and were super disappointed our sides were wrong initially but we just dealt with it once cutting into the steaks half of it was cooked and the other side was raw. We had to send both steaks back to the kitchen as they were so poorly cooked.

Highly recommended, staying in accomm next door for 2 nights, on teaching trip from Victoria. 2 amazing dinners in a row, first the lamb shank pie and then the tamari and brown sugar roasted pumpkin, both of which were divine!! Lovely friendly service with 1st class meals. If ever back in town, will be my go-to dining experience. Thanks to all there

Tonight I had the absolute pleasure of dining at On The Rocks. It was a last minute decision due to road flooding and such but, it was a good decision. The restaurant itself is beautifully located on a corner in Charleville next to the motel pool. There is a choice of inside tables and outdoor tables on the deck. This is stylishly designed. I had the lamb shank pie. It was magnificent! Delicious, melt in your mouth, lamb below a layer of peas, atop a pile of superbly prepared mash potato and luscious gravy.
