Omg what a feast!!!! A great little gem of sushi and Japanese food, fresh amazing flavours!! Love love the idea of the cream cheese in with the chicken in the sushi. Will be my local sushi place!!!!

Food is great, but terrible customer service. I have a slight trouble hearing resulting in me usually asking people to repeat. The lady serving me was incredibly rude to me, she seemed visibly annoyed with my presence, when i was given my food I got a strong impression I wasn’t welcome. The other two ladies behind me in line however were treated differently. The guy working there on the other hand has super friendly customer service.

VERY VERY GOOD, in my opinion this is the best sushi on the northern beaches for a reasonable price. They make the sushi fresh sometimes for you if they don’t have any of your choice left, and they have perfected the mayonnaise to rice ratio. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for some sushi.

This sushi is the best on the whole northern beaches!! I work on the beach front and it is my absolute favourite lunch, it is well priced and made fresh making it taste amazing!! Highly recommend.

We have been enjoying Ocean Sushi as a family for eat-in & takeaway for over 8 years now. I can’t recommend the freshness or deliciousness enough. We love the staff too. Yay for Ocean Sushi !!

I’m Japanese and I know that I should not expect quality Japanese food out here but they should not call this Japanese food… dry and hard sushi rice, karaage with weird tempura like batter, gyoza bland and as big as a fist. I’m baffled to read good reviews of people seemingly calling it ‘authentic’ and as good as what you get in Japan because I don’t think I could find a Japanese restaurant this bad in Japan…. っていうか不味すぎてビックリした。これを和食という神経が理解できない。

I’ve eaten here a bunch of times, but the salmon on my last visit was displeasing (description I thought of after some thought). That said, we’ve been there a bunch of times previously, and it was always pretty good. This particular time though, was memorable enough to warrant a 2 star review.
