Not impressed finding a rubber band in my mouth after having the takoyaki. Informed the staff about the foreign object in their food for which they did apologise but still charged for that plate.

First time at Kintaro and highly enjoyed. The food was all very fresh and tasty and not too salty. Salmon lovers are in heaven here as there is an extensive range of salmon plates, however also lots of chicken and vegeterian as well as exotics like eel. You pay based on the colour of the dish, but overall a family of four was fed cheaply. Staff are quick and attentive

I love this sushi chain, it’s fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. I usually order off the menu and ask them to prepare it fresh as I am happy to wait. Love the teriyaki chicken and rice bowl and a plate of spicy karage chicken with kewpie. From sushi menu, I like cheesy chicken, salmon nigiri and salmon volcano ship. I’d recommend dining here.

Went in at 5.30pmfor an early dinner. Asked for a fresh serve of Kangu Chicken. The girl just walked around the other side of the conveyor belt and brought me a like warm serve with distressed lettuce. Had a green tea and couldn’t get enthused after that. Not much variation and what was there didn’t appeal. I am going back to Sushi Hero at Port Adelaide. Much better.

The place is dine in, takeaway or uber delivery – convenience. It’s quieter than other sushi train style establishments so booth seating are readily available. It offers single stools seating around the “train” also. The variety/selection of plates circulating around on the train are limited but there is a great menu to order an extensive range of dishes catering for all. Drinks and deserts selection are limited.

Quick delicious and not too pricey. Customer service in the store is good too. Not really an authentic sushi (chefs are not Japanese) but fits most Australians taste. Would recommend kintaro over sushi train. Overall, 5 stars.

Asked for fresh food because some dishes were cold. They brought me cold fried squid. I sent it back and they microwaved it. After raising the prices, reducing the quantity of food on the plates AND swapping the high cost colour plates with the low cost to confuse you, I’ll never come back. You can’t trust this attitude
