We were greeted with a smile and were led to our table. Their lunch special chicken pad thai is delicious. Sauce is not overpowering, just right. Their pad thai isn’t spicy, which may be good for those who don’t like spicy foods. Might be able to request for a spicy version though. We chose fried chicken and spicy chicken for the 2-choice meal. Fried chicken was perfectly seasoned, and spicy chicken was really spicy but tasted good and won’t leave a spicy burnt feeling minutes after. Overall good food plus great service. Thanks!

Great Thai/Lao restaurant. Have some traditional Thai dishes but most are from the north east of Thai and Lao. Fish sauce is often replaced with pla raa a richer funkier version. Highly recommend the whole (or half) bbq chicken.

Exceptional food, efficient and pleasant service, extensive and comprehensive Lao and Thai menu. Very impressive som tum and larb choices. Nua Lao serves truly authentic food made by cooks who care about flavours and showcasing their tradition and culture. Highly recommend the Isaan sausage and larb duck. Som tum was really scrumptious too.
