We chose this cafe due to location and is open up to 4pm, which suited us perfectly for an afternoon coffee. But upon placing an order, the service was appaulling, all we received was attitude from a staff member…great start! An upside, it didn’t take long before we received our coffee, but it was way too hot, an immediate start to enjoy our coffee didn’t happen. Anyway, during our relaxing time, the same staff member came in and suddenly started to flip the chairs upside down on the tables around us, but there was still over an hour before closing time??? This was totally rude and annoying, so our relaxing time just went out the window, and gently wasn’t part of the process. This should NEVER be carried out during business hours, it looked like we were lost amongst a used furniture shop! What ever happened to good old customer service, obviously the staff member at this Cafe has NO IDEA…I can’t stand that! It would make more sense in doing this after closing time so customers can enjoy there time there. Are they aware that a “customers experience” is repeat business, obviously not! All I wanted to do was to sit down with my partner and enjoy a cup of coffee and the surroundings but it didn’t happen, thanks for the memorable experience! What ever happened to good old customer service, giving politeness and with a smile… unfortunately it didn’t happen. We were going to to order some food and possibly another coffee, but decided against it for obvious reasons.

delicious coffee & yummy warm cacao tonics! really enjoyed the earth cacao. friendly & quick service, lovely views outside. the wholefoods shop had a great selection too, stocking a few brands that i love at a reasonable price.

I ordered a delicious toasted anti pesto cheese panini and a GF caramel slice to go. Both items were so tasty and fresh. The caramel slice was by far my favourite one that I’ve had in a long time. Very good prices too 🙂 will be back!

I enjoyed this Cafe, great coffee and big drink selection. Price is fair and they have some interesting food to try! Staff are lovely. They also have a great selection of pantry items to choose from. This is one of the best cafes in Merimbula.
