Made a booking advance to try Nomad as we’ve heard great reviews about it. We ordered the set menu and it did not disappoint. The serving portion was generous and filling. Right from the start, we enjoyed the small finger dishes, to the entrees and main. Wait staff were very helpful and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Nomad is a great basement level restaurant in the CBD with windows looking up to the street. The vibe here is great with a fantastic ambience and not so loud that you can easily have a conversation at your table. The food here is classed as Australian using local produce but definitely inspired by the middle east and western Europe. Dishes are made to share and can be ordered separately or via two feed me options (which I recommend) as they are also flexible here too. Every dish is so well balanced on its own and to the other dishes around them. Great flavours, portion sizes and a fantastic experience. The bread is divine and dips are worth a visit alone. The spatchcook is one of the best I’ve ever eaten too and olive oil ice cream is a great way to finish. Service here is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Great wine list that will cater for all and they also offer some pretty cocktails and others too. Highly recommend as the food is just bliss

We did the classic experience. King fish, bread and the dessert were the highlights. The rest of the menu was good too. The wine selection was great. The only disappointment was the charcuterie selection, nothing special in my opinion. Overall I found the menu to be Mediterranean inspired, excellent and somewhat reasonably priced when compared to typical dine in cost for Melbourne restaurants.

Absolutely stunning and awesome food..fresh, flavours are to die for. I booked 9 months ago and my reservation got cancelled due to some one booking the whole place out . I now see why. Loved it and I will be back. You did forget one of our dishes but hey we are all human. This place is worth the visit.

Amazing fine dining experience, beautiful fresh and interesting food offerings with attentive wait service. Highly recommended the zucchini flowers that was my favourite, the chicken was beautiful, the swordfish was delicious and the olive oil icecream sandwich was next level yum. Definitely need to come back!

Went there for my partner’s birthday. Amazing food, amazing customer service by Jasper, amazing atmosphere. Their signature flatbread is a must, following with glazed wagyu tongue, lamb neck, dry aged pork & triple cooked potato. Will go back again.

Overall it was a fun experience. Food was alright, the kingfish would have been better, decent. It could be nicer if the burrata cheese come with bread o/s. Love the pistachio cocktails beautiful. Staff was very lovely. Good service. Open kitchen is a plus point.
