Beautiful location, gorgeous seafood which is served beautifully presented. Lobster pasta was ok. Not bad but I’ve tasted better but overall I had a wonderful experience. We were served by a really lovely waitress (South American I think) and she asked if it was a special occasion and and then came out with a cake and sparkler singing happy birthday to me which was a complete surprise and such a lovely thing to do. Highly recommend this place and would go back. We didn’t get our champagne topped up though as our glass emptied so had to lift the bottle out of the ice bucket ourselves throughout the lunch. Would’ve preferred a bit more attentiveness, although not a huge gripe.

Excellent place to enjoy your favourite delicacies from the ocean. Tried the Moreton Bay bugs with salad and Lobster pasta It was yummy. The dessert was sticky date pudding which was great. Had booked the place in advance so the table was ready when we got in. The view of the wharf is great too. The waitress assigned was Nina who took good care of us for the whole time. The food and service were excellent. Had Garlic Bread, salad and chips as side for some crunchy bites.

We enjoyed our time at Nick’s. Our waiter was great. Some things were fantastic (octopus, tempura veggies, oysters) but some of the fried and grilled seafood could have been nicer. There is clearly a strong emphasis on the location (which is gorgeous with fireworks views on the weelend) but there did feel like a bit of a disconnect between the price and the quality of the food and ambience.

Came here for a feed during late lunch hour. 2pm. Didn’t seem too busy so thought we’d give it a try. Not sure what happened it took over 1hr 15mins just to get our food. I’m thinking they just forgot about us because I was talking to my mate about how slow it was and a waiter/staff overheard us and said to us sorry for the wait, he’ll go check up on our food. And then not too long after, the food arrived… interesting… Food we ordered was nothing complicated as well. Just some oysters, mushroom risotto and some fish/chips. Oysters didn’t taste that fresh. Was too solid for my liking. Chips were nice. Seasoned well and crispy/hot. Fish was kinda meh. Batter was soggy and everything just fell apart. Prawns were nice. But it came with a hefty tourist price of around $48. Big price. Small plate. Only come here if you want to people watch or just want to kill some time. Funny thing is the next day, we ate at the restaurant right next door and we got our food in like 20mins, and when it was 4x more busier. So… why one restaurant took 20mins during busier times and another takes 1hr 15mins during quieter times is a mystery.
