Arrived during a busy lunch hour, yet staff provided a good service. The food wait was reasonable, and the food was great. The chicken and broccolini were cooked nicely, but the rice was pretty dry. Though the store looked pleasant, the outside dining area could have been kept clean. Many tables were dirty, but understandable it’s a busy period and limited staff.

Generally, I enjoy going to Nando’s. However, today was not an enjoyable experience. I patiently studied the menu while queuing to order, and the people ahead seemed to have a decent sized order. When it came closer to my turn to order, one of the waiting staff mentioned I could order via QR code at a table. The people ahead were finishing ordering, so I said I would wait. Shortly after, it was my turn to order. The person who was about to take my order asked me if I had a table yet, then proceeded to try to make me use the QR code and I need a table number etc, instead of simply taking my order. I was ready to order, but through making taking an order complicated, I opted to go elsewhere. The next place I went to for a late lunch took my order without making ordering food complicated. I don’t think I will return anytime soon.

Avoid on Saturdays around lunch time, this is when their service drops & the food takes over 30 minutes to serve. There were stacks of delivery bags sitting for ages on their Counters & it makes me think that if they just focus more on the food for the dine in, perhaps there would be less drama.

Free reg fries with app download so that’s super. A staff member previously walked past us quickly and said sorry we are closed really abruptly (when there were people still dining in) so we had a poor perception of Nando’s from that experience. But we were really keen to try some food so we gave it a go and the staff were friendly today, the food came out fast and nicely presented for chicken! Super app with easy ordering process. And the rewards look great. Pretty impressed 😀
