It’s where the good times roll, the banter flows, the tunes are soulful and the smiles are warm and free. Set on 6.4 hectares of lush gardens and native bushland in Karragullen, Perth Hills, Naked Apple Cider House is a family friendly venue where you can kick back, relax and take a big gulp of the serenity. We’re open four days a week, Thursday to Sunday. Feel free to bring your fur babies, too. The venue features four main areas – the restaurant, the deck, the courtyard and the expansive gardens. You’ll enjoy a wander around to check it all out before you select your perfect spot. Tables and chairs are dotted all over the property, so you can go mainstream with the crowd or turn up the chill factor in a secluded space.

My friend and i had the steak and the szechuan prawns respectively, for lunch. The food tasted nice and was well presented. But for the price we paid, I momentarily wondered if I could get the same standard of food elsewhere. In short, i think it was expensive relative to what I’d normally spend for the same kind of food at another place I usually go. Even so, I have no regrets dining here because my hunger was satisfied, and it was generally a nice place to visit with natural surroundings. Nice for lunch and chat with a friend or friends. But in winter, it’s probably a good idea to insist on sitting near a heater if you must be seated outdoors.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Naked Apple Cider, located in a hidden corner of the highway. Despite its inconspicuous location, I was surprised to find a large crowd gathered there. The car park was nearly full, and the restaurant itself was about 80% occupied on a Saturday afternoon.

Really loved the cider tasting I did here, each variety is distinct and it was cool being able to try them all. Plenty of parking, beautiful grounds, service was fast and friendly. We were seated without a reservation which I appreciated. The only criticism is that for the dips plate, the amount of hummus/dukkah/oil included is quite inadequate and stingy.

Had a casual birthday function at Naked Apple Cider House. Staff were very helpful, food was delicious (as were the ciders), plenty of space to chat and enjoy our afternoon amongst the beautiful gardens. Also had a kids playground away from the restaurant area.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly, picturesque lunch/dinner spot in the hills, this restaurant is ideal. Plenty of seating that accommodates big groups, lots of space for kids to run and play while waiting or having a drink, good service and the food was lovely. Really pleasant, easy-going place for a meal with the family.

I do not see what is the hype. Food taste is too Similar and bland at this price point. Service is lots of miscommunication (i ordered kids menu chicken popcorn, but was given and charged the full menu chicken popcorn)
