My experience was a bit of a mixed bag. To kick things off, we had a little hiccup with our order thanks to a male staff member. Our craving for a Portabello pizza somehow got lost in translation and we ended up with a Margherita on our table. Fortunately, a friendly young woman on the staff swooped in and saved the day by sorting out our order glitch.

Pre footy dining at My Goodness revealed some delicious menu items. This quirky upstairs downstairs venue had quite the range and you’ll be surprised by the quality ingredients… they really stand out in terms of flavour and textures. Beef Pattie’s made from a trio of Gippsland cuts and pizza bases with plenty of prep time.

We had staff off unwell & a fully booked week, and 3 nights we relied on the burgers, chips, fresh juice & smoothies from My Goodness Southbank. Just when you think pizza is everything, my goodness burger will have you in awww. The crispy chicken burger is just legend. Try their waffle fries is good too but best when it’s hot. Beef burger is nice to but my fav is chicken, just crispy and juicy with right seasoning.

Worst customer service ever for a simple pizza restaurant. On a Sunday night, we came to the restaurant to order a pizza, half of “The Pier” and half of ” The Italian”. The cashier repeated the order and mentioned “The Italian Lover”, we replied that it was just THE ITALIAN. He took the order, looked confused and mentioned the Italian Lover again. We reassured that it was only The Italian, the one with gorgonzola cheese. When we arrived at home, we realized that he gave us the Italian Lover, no gorgonzola cheese. We came back to the restaurant and another employee helped us and promised to remake the order. When we checked the pizza again, he gave us the Italian Lover, with no gorgonzola. We wasted a lot of time waiting for the pizza and we got the wrong order twice. Plus, today I realized that we were double charged. Horrible place.

Atmosphere, service, and food were all really good. However, I did order their massive Big Boy burger with an extra chicken patty. On inspection, it was indeed a massive burger but when opened there was two small chicken patties next to eachother that perfectly filled the burger. If this is with an extra patty, I would’ve had a very empty looking burger with half of it being just bread.

Old style pizza and burger Cafe. Great selection, value for money, friendly staff….love their waffle chips. They use good oil . I’ve eaten there 6 times, usually take away. But ate in with a mate for a change. Plus draught beer . Thank you will be back.

First impression: staff were friendly and welcoming, but as soon as I step upstairs to sit, nearly all tables are filled with food scraps and plates although the staff were free to clean up. The Spanish pizza was fine, but the crust was a bit soggy. Overall not too bad
