We went there the other night and I was really pleased with the experience. The service is the fastest I have ever experienced in the Northern beaches. We ordered the starters to share that came out in record time. They were on the small size though but we were happy with the taste and the variety of the menu. We ordered burritos for the main and I was happy with my selection (I think it’s called the tropical, it had pineapple and mango in it). I shared mine with a friend and the rest were happy with theirs as well. We were offered 5 different sauces that they left at our table to try and share. The staff was friendly, polite and professional. We were told they were closing in a very polite manner so we left feeling that we could have stayed longer. This is a BYO place and the bottle shop is right beside them so it is definitely a very convenient location. I will be coming back there to try the other dishes in the menu. I saw quite few chefs in the kitchen so I trust the speedy service will continue being a plus. Overall we were very happy and surprised about this new place. Most of the tables are outside in front of a parking lot but that didn’t take from the atmosphere which is really something to mention. Well done guys.

This Mexican kitchen is an excellent place to enjoy a meal right after swimming in the curl curl beaches. The food here is delicious which brings you right back to Mexico as soon as you take a bite of it along with the staff being friendly.

Good stuff. Super casual and tasty burrito. Make sure you use and try all the delicious homemade sauces, and grab a bottle for home. BYO means the bottle-o next door makes it really good value.

Shocked by the ratings for this place. We’re from North America and have been searching for good Mexican in Australia for a while. Ironically the only good one is in Adelaide. This one is low effort in every way. Blah food, blah ambience, and the cashier messed up our order and reservation time (which wasn’t needed because the place was empty).

Full disclosure: I am Mexican, so there’s always in the back of my mind and unfair comparison, taking into account that here you can’t find the ingredients that we have, and also that the menu has to be modified to cater the palate of locals. Nevertheless, the soft corn tortillas are absolutely delicious and exactly as you would find them in the most traditional eatery in Mexico. I was so pleased to have found something much more authentic and full of flavour than other Tex-Mex restaurants in the area. Will be back for sure.

Always went for the burrito as it is amazing, but then I tried their pork and veggie Taquito. Now I have a conundrum in that, do I go Taquito, burrito or their great nachos. Been here over 100 times and am always blown away by their quality. Best Mexican on the Northern Beaches.
