Mr. Bentley’s Burger Bar is the newest addition to Rye main street. Whilst burgers are our thing, we will also be providing a healthier ‘grab & go’ station of salads & picnic packs come Feb 2021. Perfect to pop over to Rye Pier or Park which is directly opposite us. We will be expanding our menu in late feb/ March and offering delivery with a big focus on family packs, but until then, we cannot wait for you to try our menu. Like our brother venue down the road, Panda Blairgowrie, Mr. Bentley is also named after one of our furry children and looks to be as sustainable as possible. When choosing all of our packaging we use biopaks, and source organic & local produce where possible.

Got take away burgers and they were lovely. The GF buns were also lovely and the serving sizes were generous! The chicken ribs had a lovely crunch and were friend excellently and the chicken was succulent but lacked a little flavour.

If I was to rate this store on its Burger, it would be a 5 star. On the store it would be 3 star. The ‘Are we doing this Burger’ is fantastic. A generous size Burger with plenty of meat. The store itself has a bit of an identity crisis. The outside says Burger Bar, the inside says Donuts and coffee.

Ordered online which stated 35 minutes wait time. Arrived there at 35 minutes and enquired about the order, told it was coming out now. 25 minutes later I asked again and was informed that it had been sitting in the warmer the whole time. I get that they were very busy, but that’s just poor communication. Burgers are consequently soggy and the bread is wet, with the orders not followed (asked for no mustard), and the chips were actually fries and not even half full. This is not what I have experienced from here before and it’s enough to put me off when I spent $70!

Had the vegan burger today and I have to say it was pretty darn good full of delicious flavour! I’ve had other burgers from burger places in Rye and this one is really the winner! (At least for the vegan burger) The vegan burger gets the tick of approval from me ✅
