I noticed on line this little gem of a place offered Gluten Free so we called in for lunch as I am Coeliac. The food, service & atmosphere were absolutely amazing. Overall good experience. We booked 9am for breakfast and were asked to sit outside but they were able to seat us inside. We weren’t dressed for outside dining. Great coffee. Asked for no cream in the balance bowl but did have cream. The big breakfast was very big. Wholemeal pancakes were small but had lots of berries.

DELICIOUS! its giving melbourne vibes for the quality of food and coffee!! Best coffee in Goolwa, perfect temp and delicious. Menu selection was crazy good they definitely care about what the serve and such helpful staff. Had the benny and the meat was soo soft and juicy, brookies are delicious aswell and the bao bowl was super flavourful!

We occasionally breakfast at Mother Duck. At other times it’s a convenient and pleasant stop for coffee/tea. Great Service and Prices are modest. Atmosphere is relaxed and one gains the impression that nothing asked is too much trouble. There are other great places for coffee in Goolwa as well and this one is up there with the best.

Reliable establishment for a meal in Goolwa. The food was good and generous serving. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients. The coffee tasted nice but not hot enough for my liking. The interior is lovely. It is on the expensive side for a meal. Also, they need a prominent sign to ensure customers are informed of the take away window outside. There were a few customers who walked in and had to be redirected outside.

Lovely little cafe in a small town, beautiful surroundings! Definitely worth a visit for a good coffee and some nice fresh local food! We were 4 people having coffee and got served at different times. Very interesting menu but way to many choices. Good quality ingredients and food well presented.
